100 Cards = 100 Smiles Project

New Years Resolutions. Some us make a pretty list and some us make a mental list. Well, this year I said to myself 'I want to make a complete stranger smile even if I don't see them physically smile at me.' I enjoy making cards for my friends and family, but I wanted to brake from my circle. With this in my mind, I decided to make some research and I found Cards for Hospitalized Kids. I fell in LOVE with what the organization is doing and it was what I was looking for. I 'favorite' the page in my browser and every once in a while I would look at their 'Make Card' page. I did some card sketches, but I never got to it.

If you read the 'About Page' of my blog, you would know that I am a recent graduate and you know what that means = I'm filling out job applications like its my part time job or a full time job for that matter. In between job applications, LinkedIn, and resume updates I sketched cards ideas and reviewed them, but I never made them into reality.  One recent weekend, I said to myself 'That is it! I am going to do this! These kids need their ray of sunshine! They are going to be the strangers I will be making smile.' So I did, I am finally working on this project and I gave it a name '100 Cards = 100 Smiles.' My goal is to make 100 cards for the Cards for Hospitalized Kids by the month of June. I will be updating in the progress of my project mainly in this blog and some social medial sites (sporadically, lol) with the hashtag #100Cards100Smiles

I ask you to please join me in this project, make some cards! It does not have be a 100 cards, LOL. Make this a weekend project for your kids, troop, or even your group of friends. Head to the Cards for Hospitalized Kids website for instructions and how you can send out those pretty cards to those beautiful children.

Thank you & Kisses,

Rosie
